目前肢體功能受損而需要接受復健治療者，常因往返路程的舟車勞頓、耗時費事，影響其參與治療的意願。再則復健實施過程的冗長枯燥無趣，使得治療成效大打折扣。本論文係針對目前的缺失所提出的改進作法，開發一個「建置身體機能受損者復健暨案例訓練歷程之分享機制」。患者直接透過本平台，在居家或辦公處所藉由網際網路科技即可進行線上的復健訓練。依據既定的訓練流程，搭配系統內所開發完成的趣味性、多樣化之與復健訓練有關的遊戲，使其可以在輕鬆又有效率的情境下進行復健訓練。另在遠端的醫療院所之醫療人員亦可藉由網路通訊即時的觀看患者復健之情形，糾正患者的姿勢動作。患者在復健過程中或完成後，本系統可及時提供統計分析資料給予相關人員，做為後續復健訓練課程規劃之參考。

The physically impaired require rehabilitation of their damaged limbs. They sometimes do not seek such needed therapy due to the burdensome time of travel to their therapy session. The tediousness of the rehabilitation also can reduce patient motivation and produce a medically sub-optimal outcome.
This study addresses current deficiencies in rehabilitation practices. It suggests an internet-based remote rehabilitation management program which employs graphic windows technology that is built around the Internet. The treatment involves stimulating interactive games that sharpen motivation and provide the patient with pleasant positive reinforcement.
The graphic system will allow the patient and therapist to observe the patient's neurological progress in real time. It will offer instant statistical feedback, and is flexible enough to, for example, allow the subject to make gestures. Not only does the proposed graphical windows program provide both useful physical data, it is an enjoyable treatment session for the patient.
