Mandarin Chinese is the language which verb and tense are applied indirectly, the priority of expressions takes account of verb and noun in time clause. The timing is therefore facile to dominate due to the independency of time noun is strong enough to be a single subject. As for the adverb, it constructs an interdependent relations with the part of speech via verbs, not only indicates how discourse is been accomplished with its sessions, actions or incidents, but also carries out the subjective and objective perception in human nature and how the length and pace is controlled to such an extent that, it has become an obstacle for non-native tongues. The classification and research performance are collected by the writer based on the personal teaching experiences, after further annotation and analysis, it is discovered that momentarily adverb-equivalent is easily confused and caused grammatical error for learners at beginner and intermediate level. For instance, “just” “right away” “I’d better…now”. Nevertheless, this research will be debated and analysed in three dimensions: syntax, semantics and pragmatics. And based on above studies, we determine how momentarily adverb-equivalent is applied in “Far East Everyday Chinese” and “Practical Audio-Visual Chinese” during the compilation and further discussions, that would provide a concrete advise and resource. In summary, the results and discussion section present that in accordance with the syntactic principles and momentarily adverb-equivalent and emphasizes the discourse usage as the target in student-centred learning within the critical pedagogy. The writer represents semantics by images and figures, random sample in examples and key point indicators as an in-class instruction, to distinguish the usage and rules. Language teacher can monitor the learning outcomes during student-student practice, in order to enhance the accuracy towards momentarily adverb-equivalent and decrease the fallible frequency.
