本文於2013年2月3日至17日針對淘寶網30款最熱門印表機與26款耗材收集相關數據,為了探討互補品特性對價格分散的影響,以異質商品依序透過probit模型、Heckman樣本選擇模型與線性迴歸模型,分析成交機率、銷售量、售價與價格分散等議題。實證結果發現淘寶網的售價存在羊群效應的影響,買家較偏好在有銷售紀錄的賣場消費,因此這類賣場的數量能夠顯著減少市場的價格分散程度;最後,銷售量較高的印表機會產生較多的耗材需求,導致耗材的價格分散程度顯著上升,顯示互補品需求傳遞的特性的確會對價格分散造成影響。
