LTE-A (Long Term Evolution- Advanced) 簡稱LTE升級版,是基於長期演進技術 (LTE) 的改良版本,也是4G規格的國際高速無線通訊標準。無線通訊系統上行採用SC-FDMA (Single-carrier Frequency-Division Multiple Access) 系統,使用PRACH ((Physical Random Access Channel) 和 ZC (Zadoff–Chu) 序列。然而使用者對於傳輸速度的需求日漸增加,所以本文提出利用小間距天線陣列中的空間通道強相關性,根據波的干涉原理,產生具有方向性的波束,使其主瓣方向自我調整指向用戶來波方向,配合波束形成 (Beam-forming) 與主動式天線系統 (Active Antenna System, AAS) 架構,提高系統容量或覆蓋範圍,進而提高整體效能。模擬結果顯示,在format 0,format 1,format 2,format 3的情況下,本文提出之方法相較於沒使用主動式天線的LTE-A下,在更低的SNR下會有更好的偵測機率。
Nowadays, the massive demand for high throughput cellular communications has motivated the need for new algorithms aimed at maximizing achievable rates over the wireless channel. Even as fourth generation (4G) cellular service has been deployed, the wireless community is designing fifth generation (5G) in wireless cellular systems. To increase achievable rates over the fading channel, the thought of using multiple antennas both at the base station and the mobile user side has been considered in this thesis based on long term evolution (LTE). For the uplink, single-carrier frequency-division multiple access (SC-FDMA) is adopted because it benefits the mobile terminal in transmit power efficiency. For the uplink, we utilize active-array beamforming system to make the antenna driven by beamforming form multiple and simultaneously steerable beams. The use of beamforming provides a significant improvement in system capability and coverage region which results in the elevation of the overall efficiency. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) than the methods without active array in long term evolution advanced (LTE-A).
