The whole food industry, with its globally annual sales account reaching 2,700 billion dollars,has been the most significant industry among global economics. Meanwhile, the food industry stands as the largest manufacturing industry in the world. Food industry in Taiwan used to be labor-intensive conventional industry; yet due to the changing of the economic and social structures in recent years, the food industry in Taiwan had been challenged with several difficulties which included the troubling shortage of labor, higher wages demands, and insufficient research fund from the government and the industries as well. Moreover, when facing the worsening of the investment environment, the attraction of cheaper labor and bigger market of China, the food industry in Taiwan had to decide whether to stay in Taiwan with advanced technology or to venture into China or southeastern Asia. Needless to say, the food industry had to transform in order to meet the overwhelming challenges of globalization, information technology, marketing strategies and better manufacturing techniques. Among food industries, instant noodles is a worldwide popular food which is convenient for modern people. According to the estimation of the World Instant Noodles Association in 2013, the global annual consumption of instant noodles was about 101 billion packs, which were mainly consumed in Asian countries. Among them, the market of instant noodles in Taiwan has gradually reached maturity.The innovation strategy will be the good way to improve the performance for these industry. The subject of this research (M BioTech Company) is a company of noodles manufacture. Using M Company as an example, this research shows how the company highly improve its productivity by adopting the following strategies: product innovation, management innovation, distribution channels innovation, brand innovation, and international authentication of HACCP, IS22000, Halal. The success of M Company in this research surely provides a good example for other food-related industries.
