Total of 25 external-morphological quantitative characters from specimens, included 16 metric characters and 9 morphometric characters were used in this study to investigate the existence of similarities in morphological characters between individuals of the genus Teleogryllus, including Teleogryllus occipitalis, Teleogryllus mitratus and Teleogryllus spp. All of the 25 evaluated by the
coefficient of variation, and all accepted as the good character or useful characters. Analysis was demonstrated in Euclidean matrix, Canberra matrix and Minkowski matric, clustering with UPGMA. Collections in this study were distributed from Amu-Darja to Celebes, from Java to China. Results of genus Teleogryllus showed that there was no trend towards geographic relationship, and unfound to identify
between species in genus Teleogryllus when Euclidean matrix was applied as A coefficient; while Canberra matrix was applied as A coefficient, a small group of T. occipitalis was clustered with individuals were collected from locations close to the equator; when the Minkowski matrix was applied, T. occipitalis was also clustered but geographic distribution still very irregular in the latitude and
biogeographic subdivision. Same analysis method was used on specimens of Brachytrupes portentosus to explorer further application on chosen characters. However, there were no clustering as group and the geographic trend or pattern
was still very irregular in the latitude and biogeographic subdivision in all tested coefficient. Result of body growth and geographic trend analysis showed that there was medium to low relationship between body part growths and low-to-high latitude.
