心理衡鑑的專業性是臨床心理師養成訓練的重要環節,也是臨床心理專業能力評估的重要面向,故本研究以問卷調查瞭解國內實習臨床心理師在心理衡鑑核心能力的現況。研究對象為三十對實習臨床心理師與其機構督導之配對樣本。他們在全職實習初期與後期,分別接受「學生版」與「督導版」之「心理衡鑑核心能力現況調查表」的問卷調查,分別從學生與督導的角度評估學生在六個心理衡鑑核心能力面向的表現(包含衡鑑基礎知識、自我覺察、建立關係、衡鑑與治療的關係、衡鑑專業技巧以及日常生活觀察力),以及他們對於國內心理衡鑑教育訓練現況的評估與建議。
研究結果發現:學生和督導皆認為學生在「關係建立」的表現最佳;但是在「衡鑑基礎知識」與「衡鑑專業技巧」則有待加強,這兩種能力在實習半年後已有明顯改善。就衡鑑能力面向而言,督導認為學生在進入全職實習前應具備「衡鑑基礎知識」與「關係建立」。以學生實習前後的能力變化而言,除了「自我察覺能力」之外,學生認為實習半年後自己在其他五個面向的能力皆有顯著改善,而督導則認為學生在六個面向的能力皆有顯著提昇。由此可知,全職實習確實有助於提昇學生在心理衡鑑的專業能力。若進一步比較學生在衡鑑能力的不足處與他們認為有助於提昇這些能力的教育訓練內容時,卻發現學生較重視衡鑑技巧有關的訓練內容,對於衡鑑基礎知識有關的訓練內容未有相對的重視程度。然而,衡鑑基礎知識的養成應是衡鑑專業能力養成的根基,或許教育訓練單位可讓學生了解學習衡鑑基礎知識的重要性,促使學生具有更紮實的衡鑑基礎知識配合著衡鑑專業技術,得以順利應用於未來的臨床實務工作中。

Psychological assessment is not only a central component of clinical psychology, but also an important component of evaluation of competence in clinical psychology. The purpose of this study was to use a survey study to investigate interns’ performance in psychological assessment by self-rating and supervisor-rating. Thirty intern-supervisor dyads were recruited and asked to complete questionnaires of “intern-version” and “supervisor-version” at the pre-internship and post-internship periods respectively. The questionnaire includes six core competence dimensions (basic knowledge, self-awareness, professional relationships, relationship between assessment and intervention, assessment skills and perspective in daily life) and their recommendations about current training in psychological assessment.
The results are as following: Interns and supervisors are considered that interns’ performance in “professional relationships” domain is the best performance, but the “basic knowledge of psychological assessment” and “technical assessment skills” are needed to be strengthened. However, there’s been a significantly improvement in these competence after the internship. Besides, as far as many supervisors today are concerned, the competence that interns should have before entering the internship was” basic knowledge ” and ” professional relationships” domains .After the internship, Interns consider that their performance in other five competence domains have been improved except the “self-awareness” domain, but the score of supervisor-rating shows significant improvement on all of the six domains. Thus, it’s a helpful experience for students to enhance their competency in psychological assessment during the internship. Further, when comparing their deficiencies and useful training for competence in psychological assessment, it shows that interns pay much attention to technical assessment skills than basic knowledge. However, developing the basic knowledge is the foundation of demonstrating overall competence in psychological assessment. In sum, training institutions can let the students understand the importance of basic skills and help them to develop it with assessment skills. Also, they will be able to apply the competence to the clinical practices.
