為了結合硬體、軟體資源以及網路功能, 虛擬化包含了資源的的虛擬化和網路的虛擬化。 其中一個相關的議題就是虛擬群集在聯盟式雲端服務上。為了提供虛擬群集在聯盟式雲端服務, OpenFlow這種軟體定義網路的技術支援了網路交通的模式。不同硬體機器上的虛擬群集由虛擬網路而邏輯性的連接了起來。
開放資源的OpenStack中的Quantum service提供了這種連接性的服務, 但卻是為了單一元端服務所設計的。本論文完成了實驗性的架構, 實現虛擬群集在聯盟式雲端服務上,增加了邏輯性的規則讓聯盟式雲端之間的連接以及聯盟式雲端架構的複雜度。最後, 評估整個網路架構以及在通道橋上的OpenFlow規則。
To combine hardware and software resources and network functionality, network virtualization involves resource virtualization and platform virtualization. Several issues such as virtual clustering with federated clouds are related. To provide virtual clustering over federated clouds, traffic patterns seem to be potentially alleviated by a software-defined networking (SDN) approach such as OpenFlow (OF). Virtual clusters are interconnected logically by virtual network across several physical machines.
\indent connectivity as a service, but it's designed for single cloud. In this thesis, we implement an experimental scenario as a proof of concept dealing with virtual machine clustering over federated clouds, Additional global rules are added to OpenStack’s virtual bridges to keep inter cloud connection and to reduce the complexity of federated clouds architecture. Then, we evaluate the network architecture and the OF rule space on tunnel bridges.
