隨時現代科技進步日新月異、交通運輸工具發達,世界各國人民往來頻繁各種商業、休閒活動均經常以跨國、跨洋、跨洲的型態展現,筆者從事警察工作,面對大量來台經常、旅遊的外國人或大陸人士,如果涉及犯罪,經常會出現難以偵查的冏境,尤其當國外人士涉及刑案時,即便警方於犯罪現場有掌握可疑之指紋,亦可能因該外國人之指紋並未在內政部警政署刑事警察局中建檔,而比對不出嫌疑人。因此如何快速、有效的利用指紋辨識系統,在眾多嫌疑人中,加以分辨、並初步排除涉嫌人之指紋,與可疑指紋是否相同,在犯罪偵查實務上是一個值得研究的課題。目前用來作為個人身份辨識的生物特徵,有瞳孔、容貌、指紋等。一般的辨識上還是以指紋辨識為優先考量,它除了有生物特徵中唯一不變的特性外,在價格與功能比上也比其他辨識所採用的生物特徵實用的多,而且在司法的認證上,指紋辨識也佔有重要的地位,所以如何精確的分辨一枚指紋與其他指紋是否相同,在個人身份辨識上是一個很重要的課題。本論文提出一系列有效的前處理方式來處理指紋影像,並以核心點為圓心將影像作旋轉修正,最後我們將旋轉修正後的資訊與資料庫中進行比對;本論文並將所提出之方法實現並作互相驗證,以驗證系統的正確性。
Thanks to modern technology and developed transport, business or leisure journey of various peoples from world become multinational, transatlantic, and transcontinental. I engage in police work, often meet a large number of foreigners or people from the mainland. If the overseas comers involve crimes, it would be hard to detect. Even if the police have mastered suspicious fingerprints a t the crime scene, but no suspects could be compared due to the alien fingerprint not been filed in the National Police Criminal Investigation Bureau. In investigation practice, it is a vital issue to use fingerprint identification systems effective to identify and initially rule out the suspect's fingerprints from many of others. Currently used as biometric personal identity recognition, there are pupil, appearance, fingerprint and so on. Generally fingerprint identification is top priority owing to its only constant biometric characteristics, price, features, and practical than other biometric identification. Fingerprint recognition also plays an important role on the judicial certification. Therefore it is very important to distinguish a fingerprint from other fingerprints for personal identity recognition. This thesis presents a series of effective ways to deal with pre-processing of fingerprint images, and core point as the center for the image rotation correction and finally we will rotate with the revised database for comparison. This paper will propose ways to achieve the mutual authentication and to verify the correctness of the system.
