這篇論文主要是研究在Mesh WiFi網路架構下,確定Mesh WiFi路由的接入節點有最佳傳輸路徑與速度品質。Mesh WiFi網絡通過無線連接的方式,可以簡單佈建且價格低廉,採用這種技術,可以很輕鬆的在城市,校園或體育場建立無死角的網路。傳統的網絡必須依賴有線接點或無線熱點來連接用戶。在Mesh WiFi網絡架構下,網絡連接可以在廣大的區域,透過幾十個甚至上百個無線網狀節點相互交談與分享資料。
Mesh WiFi網絡的最大優勢,相對於有線或無線固定網絡,Mesh WiFi是真正的無線布局。傳統的“無線”其接入點仍然需要透過ADSL、專線(T1/E1)或是Cable有線連接到Internet來廣播訊號。在只有一個節點“AP”需要以物理方式連接到像DSL Internet 數據機連接,Mesh WiFi網絡下,只需要一個有線節點,然後其他所有的節點用最接近他們的無線節點共享連接,彼此進行無線共享其Internet連接。正因為這種使用情況,所有的網絡封包流量將匯集到主幹網路裝置的“接入點”,進而引起網絡流量和傳輸品質的問題。
這篇論文提出一種新的路由服務方法“分層網絡的路由設計,以下簡稱FLBR”。第一點,Sink點和AP節點的最佳路徑。第二點,動態平衡所有點與點之間的路徑。最後,當節點發生故障時,新的路由服務方法會立即切換到另一個可用Sink點,藉此確保不中斷的網路服務。
最後實驗方式是基於AODV和AOMDV協定做比較,模擬實驗數據的結果,藉此證明FLBR能提供更好的負載平衡。FLBR能有更好的網絡傳輸性能和服務品質。

In this thesis we would like to investigate a method for determining an optimal transmission path quality of routes to an access node of a wireless mesh network. Mesh WiFi networks can easily, effectively and wirelessly connect entire cities, campus or stadium which use inexpensive, existing technology. Traditional networks rely on a small number of wired access points or wireless hotspots to connect users. In a mesh WiFi network, the network connection is spread out among dozens or even hundreds of wireless mesh nodes that talk to each other to share the network connection across a large area.
The biggest advantage of mesh WiFi networks -- as opposed to wired or fixed wireless networks -- is that they are truly wireless. Most traditional "wireless" access points still need to be wired to the Internet to broadcast their signals. In a mesh WiFi network that only one node “AP” needs to be physically wired to a network connection like a DSL Internet modem. The wired node then shares its Internet connection wirelessly with all other nodes in its vicinity. Those nodes then share the connection wirelessly with the nodes closest to them. Because of this, all the network packet traffic will bring together into backbone network “AP” and cause network traffic and quality bottlenecks.
This thesis proposes a new routing service “A hierarchical network routing design, hereinafter referred to as FLBR”, including the first point, optimal routing of Sink and AP nodes, the second point, dynamic balancing to all point path, the final point. When the node failure occurs, the new routing service can immediately change to another available sink to make sure the network still on service.
Based on AODV and AOMDV, simulation results which prove the FLBR provides better load balancing. The FLBR also achieves better network transmission performance and quality.
