賦權(Empowerment)可增加個人的內在動機,使被賦權者能夠主動且持續性地達成組織目標。同樣地,企業與供應鏈夥伴透過賦權的概念,可提升與彼此合作的動機,並有助於發展長期穩定的合作關係。
然而,過去研究較少以企業與企業之間的賦權為探討主題,因此,本研究目的是探討企業與供應商之間的賦權,並將企業賦權分為:意義、能力、自主性、影響力等四個構面,欲探究在企業與供應商合作過程中,企業賦權是否會影響企業雙方進行資訊分享與持續性承諾等行為,達到共創價值的目的,進而對供應鏈敏捷性產生的影響。
本研究以天下雜誌2013年調查臺灣一千大製造業的採購部門主管為研究對象,以郵寄問卷進行調查。研究結果顯示:(1)企業賦權中的「意義」、「能力」、「影響力」皆對「資訊分享」及「持續性承諾」有顯著性正向影響。(2)「資訊分享」及「持續性承諾」對「供應鏈敏捷性」有顯著性正向影響。因此,本研究認為企業與供應商在合作時,可藉由企業賦權影響雙方分享不同類型之資訊及承諾長期的合作關係,達到雙方共創價值的目的,進而提升供應鏈敏捷性,創造競爭優勢。
Empowerment is defined as a process of increasing individual intrinsic task motivation which can encourage people to make more efforts to achieve organizational goals. Through the concept of empowerment, firms increase motivation to cooperate with supply chain partners and contribute to the long-term cooperative relationships. However, little research has been done on the empowerment between firms within a supply chain.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the firm empowerment between the firms and suppliers, and generalizes the constructs of firm empowerment which include: (1) Meaningfulness (2) Potency (3) Autonomy (4) Impact. We are based on firm empowerment to develop a research model to explain the influences of firm empowerment on information sharing, continuous commitment and supply chain agility.
This empirical study investigates the top 1000 Taiwanese manufacturers issued by Commonwealth magazine of Taiwan in 2013. The results show: (1) “Meaningfulness”, “potency”, and “impact” in the firm empowerment have significant effects on information sharing and continuous commitment. (2) Information sharing and continuous commitment between companies and supplier also has a significant effect on supply chain agility.
