Pfizer Incorporated is the largest multinational Pharmaceutical Company. Its headquarters is located in United States of America, and they have with 530 subsidiaries in 150 countries, including Taiwan. Pfizer have been the leading Pharmaceutical Company with the most Revenues for many years, and in term of revenue they have earned more than what other Pharmaceutical Companies could have earned. However ever since Pfizer suffered decline in Revenue in 2012, Novartis has taken over its leading position. Despite of the recent downturn, it still does not change the fact that Pfizer Inc. has already achieved more them US$ 1 billion Exponential Return since years ago. Therefore, Pfizer Inc. is one of the Blueprints for the High-Growth Companies.
This study case is conducted to analyze they relations between the Seven Essentials to Achieve Exponential Growth by David G. Thomson and the success of Pfizer Inc. and Pfizer Ltd. Taiwan. With the Value Prepositions as the foundation of essentials, implementation of Market Segments, identification of real Marquee Customers, establishment of powerful Strategic Alliances, successful achievement of Exponential Returns, and solid Leadership formation within the Management Team and the Board Members, Pfizer Inc. are able to attain High-Growth, maintain performance and become one of the Giants.
