近年來雲端技術快速的發展,在許多網路服務中都能看到雲端相關的技術應用。虛擬化是雲端環境中最重要的核心技術,透過虛擬化能夠有效的利用硬體資源,以節省伺服器的硬體成本,並讓單一一台主機同時運作多個作業系統,讓使用者能夠得到更靈活的應用。在大型的雲端環境中虛擬機之間的傳輸勢必會隨著雲端環境的規模而增加,因此必須提高虛擬機間的傳輸頻寬,以維持平台的穩定性與服務品質(Quality of Service, QOS)。

本研究提出了一套虛擬機群組的概念,利用虛擬技術的優勢將傳輸頻繁的虛擬機組成一個群組,將它們放在同一台實體機中運行,以增加傳輸效率以及安全性,並且降低雲端環境中實體主機間傳輸上所造成的負擔。最後於實驗結果中證明本研究所提出的機制於雲端環境中確實能夠提升整體的服務品質。

In recent years, cloud technology has rapidly evolved and developing in fast pace, concurrently balanced with network services using cloud-related technology applications. Virtualization technology is the most important core technology in cloud, in which efficiently utilizes hardware resources running multiple operating systems on single physical machine, having users execute more flexible applications. As number of virtual machines increase, the rate of data transfer among virtual machines must improve, to maintain platform stability and Quality of Service (QoS).
In this thesis, we propose a method to group virtual machines of same common interest, consolidate them inside the same physical machine, in order to benefit with higher performance and security. Additionally, it may reduce the burden of the heavier network transfer load among physical server nodes in cloud environments. Experimental results of this proposed research have shown that the design is suitable and match to the evolution of cloud technology, improving the overall QoS and data security.
