Taiwan has gone through transformation from an agricultural society to an industrial society. During this transformation, the fruit industry in the Wufeng area was impacted, resulting in aging populations in the farm communities as well as younger generations leaving the area in search of work. In this study, we look into ways to recreate Wufeng’s fruit industry by employing rural activation in the Wufeng area. Through interviews as well as the collection and summarization of relative data, the author of this paper has determined that Wufeng needs its own fruit brand in order to enhance visibility, and has designed the following measures to increase visibility for Wufeng’s fruit products 1. Create a 3D model and a logo for Wufeng’s mobile fruit truck. The 3D model for the fruit truck incorporates concepts from Wufeng’s representative architectures (including Wufeng’s Asia University, the Ando Asia Museum of Modern Art, as well as the Wugui Building of the Lin Family Garden) to represent Wufeng, allowing consumers to connect the fruit truck with Wufeng. 2. The design of the fruit logo incorporates Wufeng’s characteristic fog and mist along with Wufeng’s fruit products to form a dual-element design, thereby establishing Wufeng’s fruit brand. The logo is then integrated with the mobile fruit truck, thereby achieving the design goal for this study. 3. Through the concept of contract farming as well as seasonal fruit-related events, we are able to attract tourists into Wufeng. Through design of the mobile fruit truck, we are able to further increase the willingness of tourists to add additional activities to their itineraries. Through innovative thinking, we are able to transform traditional透fruit stalls into creative mobile fruit trucks, making tourists wiling to stay in Wufeng for longer periods of time. In this study, the author takes advantage of his design skills to create a mobile fruit truck and logo that are representative of Wufeng, thereby achieving the goal of promoting Wufeng’s fruit products and transforming the mobile fruit truck into a representation of local culture. Consumers are able to construct a link between the mobile fruit truck and Wufeng due to the carefully designed conceptual links that exist. This study can serve as a future reference for diverse development of Wufeng’s fruit-based tourism industry, as well as inject a new source of liveliness into Wufeng’s agriculture industry, allowing local industries to develop their own unique characteristics, which fill further attract tourists and drive economic growth in the area through agriculture, providing new job opportunities for younger generations.
