生活中的各種事物皆能數據化，數據可以使用文字或數字的方式呈現，人類透過數據去認識與解釋世界上一些可見的事物或者不可見的抽象概念。而數據在生活中也扮演著非常重要的角色，不論是在自然科學、經濟、社會等領域，都呈現著萬物過去到目前的現況，而人們透過這些數據去解析過去並預測未來。自人類文明開始，人們開始發明並善用許多種將數據以視覺化的方式呈現出來，例如圖表、圖像等，而在藝術方面近年來也將數據以藝術裝置的方式做更多元的具象化呈現，似乎人們開始以使用多種方式去認識數據，數據也隨著時代的演變影響著我們的生活。本論文《數據具象化之網路互動藝術創作》試圖探討數據具象化的方式呈現以及數據具象化的多種可能性。
　　本論文提出〈微粒的力量〉與〈紫光七日餐〉兩件畢業製作作品來詮釋與探討本論文的主題。〈紫光七日餐〉作品是將紫外光的數據以各種方式呈現紫外光數據具象化呈現，將肉眼不可見的紫外線能量轉化為人類較易感覺到的烤箱熱能的互動裝置以及行動表演記錄，進而轉化成人吃吐司時的觸覺、嗅覺、味覺等感知，透過裝置將紫外線以吐司烤焦的方式呈現過量的紫外光照射在人體皮膚上有如將吐司放入烤箱中過量燒烤，並且我們將紫外光數據以視覺化的魔法陣呈現。作品主要探討紫外線索帶給人們的傷害以及那種不舒適感，透過具象化的互動裝置呈現方式去感受。而〈微粒的力量〉作品則是呈現人們容易忽略與遺忘的數據，在台灣使用空氣汙染的懸浮微粒作為作品呈現主題；作品透過物理多米諾骨牌效應呈現仿蝴蝶效應由微小事件影響大型物質的現象，小骨牌可推倒比本身大多倍的骨牌，並且透過連鎖反應將這個影響不斷放大，這是一個將小事物的巨大影響力呈現出來的一個作品；作品主要探討著容易被輕忽的「小」的力量、「小」的重要性以及「小」的影響力三部分，就像是台灣的空氣汙染，因為被輕忽進而被眾多實驗報告證實對人體有破壞性的影響。
　　本論文透過上述兩件作品的創作來探討網路互動藝術在數據具象化之呈現，希望能夠透過作品讓人們能夠在認知了解數據之餘，也能夠以感官方式來感受數據。讓觀者能夠透過這樣互動方式，除了對萬物能有更深層的認識外，也能夠體會到萬物對我們的影響力，進而使人們開始思考或進行生活上行為的改變。

All of things in life can be presented by data. Data is something that used to understand and explain everything in the world. Whether it is in the natural sciences, economic, social and other fields, data has shown the status of all things from past to present. Through these data people resolve the past and predict the future. From human beings to human civilization, people use the invention to present many types of data in visualization, such as charts, images... etc. In recent years, data has been presented by many of art installations. It shows that people began to use a variety of ways to understand data, and the data affects our lives along with the evolution of the times. This thesis, "Data Reification in Interactive Internet Art " attempts to explore the data presented in reification and the possibilities in data reification.
This thesis will present “UV Light Meals in Seven Days” and “The Power of PM”, that are two of graduate art works explaining and discussing the production of the topic. “UV Light Meals in Seven Days” shows data of UV light in a variety ways. The work shows with interactive installation, data-visualized graphs and documentary film of action performances. The interactive installation can be used to transform data of UV light into toaster’s energy to make toast, and the documentary film shows the process of two performers use the installation to make toast and eat those seven days. This work try to transform the data of UV Light, have data more tangible, and convey the feeling of uncomfortable about UV Light. “The Power of PM” shows the power of particular materials in life. This work incorporates the physical effect of domino chain reaction. It presents ten rectangular boxes form a domino structure. The smaller domino can pull down others which are bigger than itself and this effect will continue to ripple through the enlarged. The work presents a huge influence on the small things.
In this thesis, through these two works, I tried to explore the possibility of developing data reification in internet art. I hope to explore the data presented living thing around and to let people can feel more about the data and understand the data. In addition to all things have a deeper understanding, but also be able to appreciate all our influence and importance. Moreover, this thesis has stimulated people to start thinking about life or to change their behavior.
