It is an important medical research issue for discussing the relationship between risk factors and cancer research. In Taiwan, the prevalence of esophageal cancer increases faster than that of the other cancers. Overall the survival rate of esophageal cancer is low. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain a well-healing effect.
According to the literatures, the relation among oral cancer, esophageal cancer and betel quid chewing has clearly been demonstrated. However, according to Nation Health Insurance Research Database, the analysis results shown that they might not have significant relation. Furthermore, the Spatial Analysis showed different areas of the “hot spots” among them. It could infer that esophageal cancer might be affected by the other factors such as environmental factor. We, therefore, used the distribution of location gathering “hot spots” and “cool spots” to research that esophagus cancer with eight heavy metal’s influence.
