文化智力之定義為一個人能夠有效地適應不同文化背景的能力。過往研究探討文化智力多著重於探究跨文化工作者與海外交換學生所擁有之文化智力目前顯少有研究對領隊人員之文化智力作完整瞭解,因此,本研究之目的在於探索領隊人員文化智力之內涵,以瞭解領隊在不同文化背景中所需要之文化智力。本研究透過便利抽樣法與滾雪球抽樣法,與18位專業領隊人員進行深度訪談,並使用內容分析法將訪談內容分析並歸納出三個主要的領隊文化智力之面向:認知面文化智力、動機面文化智力、行為面文化智力。認知面文化智力構面包括了解當地文化、了解當地旅遊環境、了解當地溝通方式、了解當地旅遊資訊;動機面文化智力構面包括文化偏好、自我認同;行為面文化智力構面包括溝通互動、溝通技巧、肢體語言。本研究亦提出相關之管理意涵與未來研究方向之建議。
