 目的：本研究旨在探討不同運動頻率對沒有運動習慣者之訓練效果影響。方法：受試者為16名沒有運動習慣的大專學生，進行前測、訓練及後測，前測內容為500m划船測功儀測試，再以前測所得之測功儀平均瓦特數分為Ａ、B組，進行兩週訓練，A組訓練頻率為每週3次，B組為每週2次，負荷為3x10槳，間歇時間90秒，紀錄功率 (平均瓦特數) 、距離及心跳率，並在第一次及最後一次訓練採血10 μl。結束訓練後一週進行後測，內容同前測。結果：訓練頻率3次/週的A組在乳酸及心跳率上適應較訓練頻率2次/週的B組佳，但皆未達顯著差異。在前、後測運動表現上，A組的平均瓦特數顯著進步+26.3瓦特 (p=0.003) ，平均秒數顯著進步-6秒 (p=0.004) ，B組平均瓦特數顯著進步+30瓦特 (p=0.045) ，平均秒數顯著進步-6.8秒 (p=0.03) ，而在訓練時的瓦特數僅A組有顯著進步+22瓦特 (p=0.028) 。結論：要在短週數內在運動表現有明顯進步，以3次/週以上的運動頻率將有較佳的效果。而想將此訓練作為運動習慣來長期進行，只要在2次/週以上的運動頻率都對運動能力有顯著的影響。
 Purpose: To investigate the effects of different exercise frequency on general university students. Method: The subjects were 16 university students who had no exercise habits. The protocol included Pre-test, Training and Post-test. The Pre-test was 500m test on the rowing machine (Concept 2) . To separate 16 students on the basis of the average watt of 500m pre-test. The A group did training 3 times a week while the B group trained twice a week, both of them did the same training program (3 sets *10 SPM, rest 90s between sets) .Recorded the power (average watt), distance and heart rate. Collected the blood sample 10 μl while the first and the last training day. The post-test was same as pre-test. Result: The A group had been adapted to the training on their physiological index faster than the B group, but both of them did not show significant difference. The exercise performance between Pre-test and Post-test, the A group showed significant improvement on the power of the rowing machine(+26.3 watt, p=0.003) and had been faster on the rate (-6 sec, p=0.004). The B group also had significant changes, they had improved the power (+30 watt, p=0.045) and the rate (-6.8 sec, p=0.03) . However, only the A group showed obvious difference on the power of the last training (+22 watt, p=0.028) . Conclusion: If the object is to have significant improvement on exercise ability quickly, the exercise frequency must be 3 times a week or more. And while the object is to get a long-term habit of exercise, training twice a week also helps people improve their ability.
