近年物聯網與大數據時代的興起,物聯網與生活已密不可分,如何將大量數據整理、分析成為有用的數據,為物聯網所帶來的優勢之一。面臨物聯網時代的來臨,物流業身為供應鏈的一部分,是否能利用物聯網系統發展更有效率的供應鏈,掌握物聯網的關鍵核心概念,實屬重要之議題,方能在競爭激烈的環境下搶得物聯網商機。本研究透過科技-組織-環境(Technology-Organization–Environment,TOE)架構,建立研究模型,探討影響臺灣物流業者採用物聯網系統的影響因素,將研究樣本分為未採用與已採用兩群組,運用二元羅吉特迴歸分析與偏最小平方法進行十個假說檢定。

本研究共計發放323份問卷,回收有效問卷173份,有效回收率為53.4%,未採用物聯網系統91家,已採用物聯網系統82家。二元羅吉特迴歸分析的研究結果顯示,技術複雜性、高階主管支持、組織規模、組織準備程度、外部競爭壓力會顯著影響物流業者採用物聯網系統的意願;其次,偏最小平方法的研究結果顯示技術相對優勢、技術相容性、技術複雜性、組織準備程度、外部競爭壓力會顯著影響物流業者採用物聯網系統的程度,並進而影響採用的財務績效與作業績效。最後,本研究也對物流業以及系統供應商提出結論與建議。

Recently, Internet of things (IOTs) and Big data analysis has already become a part of our life. IOTs can organize and turn large amounts of data into useful information. Facing the IOTs era, whether logistics service firms can use the core functions of IOTs to develop a much more efficient supply chain or not is an important issue. Based on the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, this study developed a research model to explore the determinents of intention to adopt IOTs from Taiwan logistics service firms.This research devided the data into 2 groups (non-adopters and adopters) and verified 10 hypothesis by binary logistic regression and partial least squares (PLS).

This study delivered 323 questionnaires and gathered 173 valis questionnaires from senior managers (91 for non-adopters and 82 for adopters) in Taiwan logistics service firms were employed to test the relationships between the research model constructs using the logistic regression analysis. This study applies the binary logistic regression to examine the effect of TOE factors on IOTs adoption intentions. The results reveal that firm with certain perceived complexity, top management support, firm size, organizational readiness, competitive pressure are more likely to adopt IOTs. Organizational context is a major determinant of the decision to adopt IOTs. On the other hand, the result of partial least squares method reveal that perceived relative advantage, perceived compatibility, perceived complexity, top management support, organizational readiness, competitive pressure and the regulation environment affected the extent of IOTs adoption.
