背景:嬰兒時期需提供均衡且足夠的營養以利其生長發育。世界衛生組織建議應以純母乳哺育至6個月,而後開始添加副食品。隨著科技發展,網路的方便性及豐富資訊使其成為家長育兒時的重要資訊來源之一,而家長使用的資訊來源會影響其餵食狀況。本研究目的為探討台灣地區家長使用的資訊來源對副食品添加時機之影響,及影響網路為家長信任及具影響力資訊來源的因素。研究方法:以網路問卷於台灣架設之熱門育兒論壇進行招募,總計回收1029份有效問卷。結果:16-19週為主要的添加時機(35.6%)。小兒科醫生(40.9%)則為主要的餵食資訊來源。前六個月餵食方式為混合配方奶哺育者、對衛福部添加建議認知為4-6個月添加者有較高機率於19週前添加副食品。另外,主要依賴小兒科醫生及網路者有較高的機率於24週後添加副食品。副食品添加感受部份發現,信心程度較高及認為接收過多資訊者會降低在24週後添加副食品的機率。網路部份顯示有96.6% 家長每天均會使用網路。搜尋內容以如何製作副食品及副食品食譜為主(84.9%)。喜歡看其他照顧者經驗分享者會增加網路的信任程度,認為網路相當方便及資訊多元者則會增加網路的影響力。結論:主要依賴小兒科醫生及網路者會增加在24週後添加副食品的機率,喜歡看其他照顧者的經驗分享者會增加網路的信任程度,而網路的方便性及多元化會增加網路的影響程度。因此,小兒科醫生應注意自身對家長的影響力,主動推薦政府或學術單位所架設之優質網站供家長作參考,以利家長得知正確的育兒資訊以維護嬰幼兒健康成長。
Background: Infancy is the fastest growing stages of the human’s life cycle. The timing of the introduction of solid food to an infant’s diet is important for infant nutrition and development. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between parents’ information sources and introducing solid food timing in Taiwan, and to realize the main predictors for internet trusted and influenced. Methods: The study used electronic questionnaire. A variety of parenting social network were approached and those who agreed to distribute or advertise the study hosted a link to electronic questionnaire. Results: A total of 1029 parents completed questionnaires. 36% of babies were introduced solid foods at 16-19 weeks. 41% parents reported most important feeding information is pediatrician. The early introduced of solid foods was found to be associated with: perceptions of introduced solid foods guidelines being to wean ‘4-6 months’, those who mix/formula feed at first six months. Reliance on advice from the pediatrician and the internet was associated with introduced solid foods later than 24 weeks. Most (97%) of parents had access to the internet. The content for internet searching was search solid foods recipes (85%). The reason for seeking information on the internet was ‘Internet is very convenient’ (81%). The logistic showed that ‘Like to read mothering experience sharing’ more likely to trusted online information. ‘Internet is very convenient’ and ‘Internet contains a variety of information’ more likely to increasing internet influenced. Conclusion: Pediatrician should mind the parents’ information sources probable influences of feeding decisions. Besides, pediatrician should recommend high quality websites or initiative to provide parenting information on the websites. Provide correct information and support to parents for achieving the ideal feeding recommendations.
