現今，許多學者及臨床醫師已普遍認為早期治療可以獲得較佳的骨性效果的結論。但早期的上顎擴張術常會因裝置所需的錨定牙齒尚未萌發或蛀牙,缺牙,牙根長度不足,牙冠露出不足等而造成設計上的改變。本實驗的目的即在於探討在上顎快速擴張裝置上，不同數量的錨定牙齒其所獲得的治療效果是否有差異。

Recently, many researcher and clinical dentist commonly recognize that early orthopedic treatment in child or adolescent will gain better bony result. But there are a variety of palatal expansion device and design. For example, Hyrax expander is a fixed RPE device. However, due to lack of anchor teeth, caries, congenital missing…etc, so many designs we can choose clinically. Therefore, in this study, we try to figure out different number of anchor teeth whether influent the effect of palatal expansion.
