本研究聚焦於開放式創新與模組化,乃基於創新跨越了組織的疆界的複雜性以及在組織雙元性中探索與開發的矛盾。從文獻軌跡探究,企圖從整合出發,觀察當個體或組織在特定管理框架內的資源組合之具體的經營過程。其為了維持組織的競爭動力與創新來源,必須與外部環境進行互動以獲取所需的資源。企業也透過不同的體制運作,在產業共同演化性下,以實現開放式創新。於此,正反映出創新內容、脈絡、程序之理論的缺口。

模組化的配置能夠讓企業更為敏捷的是適應快速變遷的商業環境,以隨需應變的方法更具彈性,讓企業隨時能保持合時宜的狀態,持續隨時代演進,因應變化而成長。本研究之單一個案,中鋼為大型工業的交叉式垂直整合組織,歷經開放式創新的企業變革,當開放式創新發展時,涉及到企業資源與活動的重新配置,於是問題定義、知識疆界及組織運作的模組化配置相對形成。

本研究透過文獻探討與個案分析,提出四個命題: (1)透過從分享到制約的「問題定義」模組化配置,且經由溝通形成共識,則較有可能達到開放式創新之跨疆界管理的效率;(2)透過從由外而內到雙向交流的「知識疆界」模組化配置,且有效管理的知識的專屬性,則較有可能達到開放式創新之跨疆界管理的效率;(3)透過彈性到制式的「組織運作」模組化配置,且運用彼此熟悉的外部專家及經理人之合作,則較有可能達到開放式創新之跨疆界管理的效率;(4)若能完善地模組化配置「問題定義-組織運作-知識疆界」,對應於開放式創新的「內容-脈絡-實踐」,則較有可能成功地企業變革。


Our research focuses on open innovation and modularization is due to the complex boundary management and the contradiction between exploration and exploitation under ambidextrous organization. By reviewing literatures, we observe a firm needs to integrate resources to business. Also, a firm should interacts with outside in order to enhance their competitive and obtain innovation sources. Under the phenomenon on co-evolution in industrial, a firm implements on open innovation. Therefore, our research reflects to the theoretical gap among contact, context and process on open innovation.

The allocation on modularization will enable a firm agile. Through on demand way, a firm what is appropriate to the occasion to business development. We use a single case to research, China Steel as a huge cross vertical integration organization, what experiences change management based on innovation. It involves allocating resources and actives. Therefore, problem solving, knowledge boundary and organizational structure will be into the allocation on modularization.

Our research submits to four propositions.
1. Through from sharing to condition based on problem solving under the allocation on modularization, and by communication into common consensus, open innovation is likes to and efficient on cross boundary management.
2. Through from outside-into the couple process based on knowledge boundary under the allocation on modularization, and by manage knowledge appropriability, open innovation is likes to and efficient on cross boundary management.
3. Through from elasticity to regulation based on organizational structure under the allocation on modularization, and by the corporation outside professional with management, open innovation is likes to and efficient on cross boundary management.
4. The well allocate to problem solving , knowledge boundary and organizational structure on modularization to map contact, context and process on open innovation, a firm will get a successful change management.
