以視訊會議傳輸系統及相關視訊、音訊設備所架構的「即時群播遠距教學」目前已在各大學之校際選修課程普遍使用,而伴隨著傳播與教育科技的發展,「即時群播遠距教學」已經進入到一個全新且穩定的時代。一直以來遠距教學的相關研究都是關於系統的設計和硬體的發展,較少研究著眼於實施這種特別的教學方式時,教師教學活動的研究,包括教師的準備及訓練、課程中溝通與互動設計、安排,和遠距傳播工具的應用。
本研究以國立交通大學第104學年第二學期所開設之即時群播遠距教學校際選修課程:「當代世界環境生態與永續發展」的授課教師群及選修學生為研究案例,採問卷調查法以瞭解即時群播方式之遠距教學教師的「溝通類型」,「溝通恐懼」與「畫面呈現」,並探討三者之間相互的關係,同時以參與觀察法的方式記錄教師在即時群播的視訊情境中,進行遠距教學時的畫面呈現情形。
本研究最後並針對即時群播遠距教學使用者,以及後續研究者提出建議。

Real-time multi-casting synchronous distance instruction through video conference transmission systems and related video, audio equipment architecture is now widely used in intercollegiate elective courses in each university, and with the development of communication and education technology, Real-time multi-casting synchronous distance instruction has entered into a new and stable era. Related research has been focused on the development of system design and hardware, and few studies focused on the implementation of this particular way of teaching, the activities of faculty, including faculty preparation and training, as well as interactive communication of the members, the courses arrangements , and application of remote communication tools.

The study was conducted through synchronous distance instruction inter-universities courses “contemporary world : environmental crisis & ecological sustainability” in NCTU. Questionnaire surveys were conducted to measure communicator styles, communication apprehension and image presentation and then explores the interaction of the tree. Participatory observation was conducted as supplementary tools.

Finally, this study supplied suggestions for adopters of real-time multi-casting synchronous distance instruction and for future study.
