Abstract
The study was based on the anti-corruption campaigns under Xi Jinping from November 2012 to the end of 2015. The purpose of this study is to analyze the anti-corruption policies under Xi’s governance. As of the end of 2015, there are already more than 89 vice-ministerial officials being brought up. This anti-corruption policy has repeatedly triggered political shocks. The serious corruption problem has been existing since the reform and opening-up policy started for more than 36 years. The phenomenon that caused by the problem has been extended to the fifth generation of leaders, anti-corruption and reform has become the principle for Xi Jinping. This study would sort out the current definition, in addition to introducing the corruption theory. Under the use of literature review, this study would discuss the impact of Xi anti-corruption campaign to the public sector, enterprise and the development of political situation. With comparative research methods, this study would compare the anti-corruption strategies among the three leaders,Jiang zemin hu Jintao,and Xi jinping, and to find the associated relationships among them. Lastly,this study would apply the rent-seeking model into Zhou Yongkang’s case for discussing Chinese officials’ corruption, as to confirm the political and economic implications during anti-corruption campaign.
