Purpose: To realize the status of body mass index, physical activity and body image of working women and discuss the relevance between each other. Method: Take full time working women of local organization as research object. 300 questionnaires were distributed while 277 were valid response corresponding with a 92.3% return rate. The result were expressed by one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test analysis and Pearson's Correlation coefficient. The level of significance is set at α=.05. Result: 1. Comparisons of body image of working women of different age, different career, different educational level and awareness of their own health status have obvious relation with "Appearance evaluation" and "Body part satisfaction" significance(p<.05). There is no obvious relation with appearance evaluation significance (p>.05). 2. Working women with different Body Mass Index (BMI) only on the "body part awareness" facet, with people too skinny and people normal weight obviously more than people that are too fat (1, 2>3, p<.05). All other sources have no obvious relation with body part awareness. 3. Body images of working women with different physical activity level are only on the "Appearance evaluation" facet, with high physical activity level obviously higher than low physical activity level (1>3, p<.05). All other sources have no relation with appearance evaluation (p>.05). 4. Physical activity level of working women at different BMI, Amount of BMI at normal range or too low is obviously higher than the overweight (A>C,D; B>C,D, p<.05) 5. BMI and physical activity level of working women are in negative relative(r=-.38, p<.05). BMI and body image are in highly relative(r=.56, p<.05). Physical activity level and body image are in highly relative as well(r=.52, p<.05). Conclusion: Body part awareness, appearance evaluation, appearance orientation and weight loss purpose chart still would not be obviously affected by difference of BMI. Physical activity level of working women is relative to personal body image. As physical activity level rise up, it helps elevate the body image of working women, to effectively bring up the confidence of working women to make a positive lifestyle.
