本研究綜合前人研究、外觀形態、葉表皮形態、花粉形態、核型分析,以及地理分布等針對臺灣產薊屬植物進行植物分類學之研究,將臺灣產薊屬植物處理成10種4變種等共14個分類群,分別為阿里山薊 (C. arisanense Kitam. var. arisanense)、紫花阿里山薊 (C. arisanense Kitam. var. purpurescens (Kitam.) Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang, 2n=34)、島薊 (C. brevicaule A. Gray)、鱗毛薊 (C. ferum Kitam.)、細川氏薊 (C. hosokawae Kitam. var. hosokawae)、北村氏薊 (C. hosokawae Kitam. var. kitamurae Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang, 2n=32)、南國小薊 (C. japonicum DC. var. australe Kitam., 2n=34)、長苞小薊 (C. japonicum DC. var. bracteatum Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang)、白花小薊 (C. japonicum DC. var. takaoense Kitam.)、玉山薊 (C. kawakamii Hayata, 2n=64)、華薊 (C. lineare (Thunb.) Sch. Bip., 2n=30+2B)、森氏薊 (C. morii Hayata, 2n=34)、鈴木氏薊 (C. suzukii Kitam.),以及塔塔加薊 (C. tatakaense Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang, 2n=64) 等,其中塔塔加薊為新種、紫花阿里山薊為新組合,以及北村氏薊及長苞小薊為新變種。而臺灣產薊屬植物分屬於2組5亞組,結果顯示依據習性、總苞與花冠形態可區分至組;而以花冠裂片和膨大之花冠筒長度之比例與總苞形態可作為各亞組的區分依據;綜合各外觀特徵、葉部被毛與花粉形態可區分種及種下各分類群。本文提供各分類群之特徵描述、地理分布圖、彩色照片、檢索表,以及部分分類群的核型分析。
The taxonomic study of Cirsium Mill. was conducted mainly on the basis of its morphological features, the micromorphology of pollen and leaf surfaces, karyotype analysis, geographic distribution, herbarium studies in Taiwan, and relevant literature. Taiwan Cirsium was classified into 14 taxa, including 10 species and 4 varieties, namely C. arisanense Kitam. var. arisanense, C. arisanense Kitam. var. purpurescens (Kitam.) Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang (2n = 34), C. brevicaule A. Gray, C. ferum Kitam., C. hosokawae Kitam. var. hosokawae, C. hosokawae Kitam. var. kitamurae Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang (2n = 32), C. japonicum DC. var. australe Kitam. (2n = 34), C. japonicum DC. var. bracteatum Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang, C. japonicum DC. var. takaoense Kitam., C. kawakamii Hayata (2n = 64), C. lineare (Thunb.) Sch. Bip. (2n = 30 + 2B), C. morii Hayata (2n = 34), and C. suzukii Kitam. and C. tatakaense Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang. Among these taxa, C. tatakaense Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang (2n = 64) is a new species, and C. hosokawae Kitam. var. kitamurae Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang and C. japonicum DC. var. bracteatum Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang are new varieties. C. arisanense Kitam. var. purpurescens (Kitam.) Y. H. Tseng & C. Y. Chang was treated as a new combination. Descriptions, distribution maps, color plates, keys of all taxa, and a karyotype analysis of some taxa are provided.
