目前智慧型手機已經成為大眾必備物品。由於智慧型手機比起數位相機更有便利性,因此,大多數人越來越喜歡使用智慧型手機進行拍照來紀錄生活。本篇論文應用以影像內容為基礎的影像處理技術在手機應用程式上呈現,建構一個自動辨識景點及將影像合成的系統。使用者透過智慧型手機上的App,經過初步定位的篩選,由使用者拍攝出查詢影像,從影像中提取三個特徵,在特徵中本篇方法使用顏色直方圖、灰階共生矩陣、邊緣直方圖做為影像的顏色、紋理、邊緣特徵,經由提取的特徵做影像的相似度計算,在資料庫中查詢出正確的影像,再請使用者依提示影像拍照,最後將新舊影像進行合成,並儲存至手機內。本篇方法APP在操作上簡單且在使用影像查詢上有也有良好的表現,本篇論文使用的實驗資料庫為建築的各種拍攝角度收集而成的影像,實驗結果呈現各建築照片與舊照片合成影像,以及辨識資料庫影像的結果呈現。
