Mobile applications (apps) have grown substantially in response to consumer demand, in order to increase users’ benefits. There were a lot of apps assist advance mobile service for users; for instance, Uber, Foodpanda, and DiDi app, which were supported real time transportation for passengers.
This study was to explore why the users abandon the previous way of the service but have the intention to obtain the service by apps, such as Uber, DiDi, and Foodpanda, through system quality, information quality and compatibility. In this study, the intention model was formulated from perspective of S-D logic, and U&G theory, and samples from the Uber, Foodpanda and DiDi app will be collected by providing a hyperlink to survey form from Uber, Foodpanda and DiDi app users.
The results shows that when user using app for the service, its design and relative advantage of the mobile apps will have an impact on the users, resulting in a intention to use the apps. While the information quality has not positive relate to the relative advantage, which arises from several reasons. The most common cause is that the information provided by the current app didn’t offer complete personal information that user need. The app designer can enhance the app’s information quality which can result in reduces users’ uncertainty, hesitation, and doubt of the app, and increase the adoption of the app.
