本實驗為改良型Mach-Zehnder干涉儀,主要是在不加主動回授控制元件狀況下,調整被動元件來改善極化衰減的影響,進而希望可以將入侵定位感測器商品化。而在入侵方面,是透過訊號強度和訊號週期來決定是否為入侵現象;定位方面,則捨棄傳統互相關運算法,因為在互相關運算法非在運算過程中運算量過於龐大,導致軟體產生延遲,故改成以頻域上為主,將訊號透過快速傅立葉轉換,並將兩訊號對應頻率的相位進行相減並得出其對應頻率相位差,進而推斷出其入侵位置。
In this thesis, we use a modified dual Mach-Zehnder interferometer, which can eliminate the polarization fading effect usually encountered in a system for locating an intruder. The proposed distributed vibration sensor can be put in commercial use for intrusion detection and location. To test the proposed intrusion detection system for intrusion alert, appropriate thresholds of signal amplitude and signal frequency are set. For locating an intruder, we calculate the phases of concerned harmonic components of the two detected signals and the difference between the two signals at each concerned harmonic frequency, and then determine the location by averaging these phase differences. Thus, the commonly used cross-correlation technique for determining the intruder’s location is not used here.
