The study plans to resort to and to investigate the relationship among personal cultural dimensions (including achievement, individualism, universalism, and pecuniary materialism) (Robert Merton’s Anomie Theory, 1968), family (Messner and Rosenfeld’s Institution Anomy Theory, IAT 2001) and ethics. Also, to examine the moderating effects of family on the relationships between personal cultural inclinations and ethics. Results from a sample compose of 241 employees indicate that: achievement and individualism is positively related to ethic; family is negatively related to ethic; the positively relationship between achievement and ethics are moderated by family.
