本研究旨在探討運用合作學習策略提升國中七年級學生英語學習成效，瞭解在實施合作學習的過程中，會遭遇到哪些困難並提出解決策略，然後藉由行動研究來修正問題並進行教學反思，以增進教學專業成長。
研究對象為研究者任教的七年級導師班共44位學生，進行11週的研究歷程，所運用的合作教學法為學生小組成就區分法。研究期間以小組評估表、學生文件資料、訪談、教學省思日誌等工具蒐集資料。研究方法以質性資料為主，量化資料為輔，並透過成對樣本T檢定分析，探討學生的英語學習成效。研究者依據研究結果獲得以下結論:
一、合作學習模式對於學生英語學習動機與態度、合作技巧皆有提升。
二、實施合作學習的過程中，遭遇到的困難如人際關係、討論不確實、教室秩序、職務角色執行不確實。
三、針對遭遇到的問題，提出策略為:社會技巧教學、時間控制、競賽方式、計算個人進步分數。
四、根據學生學習評量成績結果顯示，實施合作學習後學生的英語學習成效有顯著差異。
五、合作學習能提升教師教學專業成長。

The research is to investigate the application of cooperative learning strategy to improve English learning effects in a 7th grade English class. The purposes of the study were to amend the problems during the process of application of cooperative learning. In addition, it is to investigate the reflection on the researcher’s own teaching and professional growth during the process of action research.
1.The forty-four participants of the seventh grades are the students of the researcher’s, and the research had been implemented for eleven weeks. The method of the cooperative learning strategies in the teaching is called Student Teams Achievement Division. The data collection included group word reflection, students’ worksheet, interviews, and journal evaluations. Qualitative materials were mainly adopted while quantitative ones were auxiliary when making the study, and through paired samples t-test to explore students’ achievement of English learning. The results are as follows: Cooperative learning can improve students’ English learning attitude, motivation and social skills.
2.The difficulties such as peer relationships, uncertain discussion, the order in class, and the problems of different roles.
3.The strategies to solve the problems are the teaching of social skills, time management, the way of the contest, and the calculation of the advancement scores of the individuals.
4.The students’ English academic achievement was significant in the research after cooperative learning.
5.The teachers could promote their professional growth by using cooperative learning
