本研究是用噴覆的製程來製造出鍍金印刷電路板血糖試片。用噴覆的方法把酵素點在血糖試片上,在與傳統的點膠機來做比較,在這會發現傳統點膠機點上去的酵素結晶粗大而不規則,且分佈相當不均勻。但是使用噴覆製程出來的血糖試片在顯微鏡底下觀察會發現噴覆製程使得在反應區的酵素結晶分佈非常均勻且細小。而且,以糖水來測試新的噴覆製程製作的試片其標準差(STDEV)及變異係數(CV)比傳統點膠機的標準差(STDEV)及變異係數(CV)相較起來低很多,這表示噴覆製程所造出的血糖試片在反應區比較細小且均勻分佈的酵素結晶的確會讓血糖試片的準確度變得好很多。
In this study we focused on the ink jet printing process to produce blood glucose strips made of immersion gold plated printed circuit board, on which was deposited a drop of enzyme solution on the reaction zone of the test strip. Conventional enzyme dispensing processes produced tests trips with coarse enzyme crystals randomly distributed inside the reaction zone of the test strips, while the new ink jet printing process produced tests trips with very fine enzyme crystals evenly distributed inside the reaction zone of the test strips, as demonstrated by the microscopic pictures.
After testing the test strips produced with ink jet printing process, it was found that from the control solution test result, both the standard deviation (STDEV) and the coefficient of variation (CV) of the test strips were significantly lower than test strips produced with conventional enzyme dispensing process. It seems that the presence of very fine enzyme crystals evenly distributed inside the reaction zone of the test strip did contribute significantly to improve the accuracy of the glucose test strips.
