本研究探討行動電子書互動介面設計,從使用性出發討論先前使用經驗、情感設計及視覺化之關鍵要素。整體研究架構首先進行相關文獻彙整與分析,再導入本研究所擬定之三個研究課題,其目的與方法分別為:研究課題一:採用使用者測試、問卷調查與個別深度訪談法,探討介面設計原則與使用性;研究課題二:採用使用者測試與紮根理論法,探討互動體驗情感設計的關鍵與特色;研究課題三:採用焦點團體法,分析視覺化與互動設計模式如何影響使用者經驗。本研究成果如下:
1.行動電子書使用性原則與介面設計:使用性評估可從可視、容易、有效及享受四方面著手,使用者的操作與認知與先前使用經驗息息相關,而影響使用者操作的重要關鍵分別是:一、美學:可增添行動電子書的內容,讓使用者在閱讀的同時也能夠享受更舒適的視覺效果;二、成就感:減少錯誤率隨即讓使用者擁有成就;三、介面友善:讓使用者容易學習,容易操作。
2.行動電子書互動體驗與情感設計:本研究提出行動電子書設計中考量視覺效果、設計模式、操作模式、互動體驗、價值暨滿意度所賦予的情感因子,可以增加使用者操作及使用的頻率,其中又以「價值暨滿意度」是串聯情感向度的核心因子,使用時感到愉快價值自然提昇。情感設計對於行動電子書的互動體驗有正面影響,愉悅的感受更能讓使用者在使用上與產品更為密切,因此添加情感因子將是行動電子書互動介面設計重要的一環。
3.行動電子書互動介面模式與視覺化研究:行動電子書專屬的使用者介面模式可以不受出版系統與應用程式的限制,為行動電子書提供一致性的操作模式。形狀、區域、色彩、數字等先期注意變數可以在第一時間傳遞資訊,其中又以「數字」為行動電子書的互動介面模式與視覺化中,最重要的視覺特點。行動電子書互動設計中以物件可視性(按鈕、提示)與視覺呈現(素材、頁面配置、效果)為吸引使用者注意及深入感興趣點之視覺化要件。
綜觀上述,本研究從使用性出發,整合互動介面設計之多元性研究觀點:使用性原則、情感設計、視覺化,找出吸引使用者深入感興趣點的視覺化因素,為行動電子書領域整理出有關互動介面設計模式之建議。
This study explores interactive interface design on mobile e-books. The goals and methodologies of the issues are as follows: (1) discuss interface design principles and usability by user testing, questionnaire and interview survey; (2) explore the key points of interactive experience and emotional design by user testing and grounded theory; (3) analyze the effect of visualization and interactive interface design patterns relate to user experience by focus group. The results of this study are as follows:
1.Usability principles and interface design on mobile e-books: Usability principles can follow four principles, including visibility, ease, efficiency and enjoyment. Users’ perception and behaviour of using a mobile e-book interface are related to user prior experience. The key attributes affecting users’ behavior of operating the interface are listed as follows: (1) asthetics: proper graphic designs, page layouts, icons, and structures may enrich the content of an e-book, as well as bring users pleasant visual enjoyment when reading; (2) achievement: user prior experience can minimize the chances of making mistakes, and bring users a sense of achievement; (3) friendliness: user prior experience can minimize users’ chances of making mistakes, which renders learning and operation easier for users.
2.Rich interactive experience and emotional design on mobile e-books: The paper proposed that mobile e-books adopt visual effect, designing patterns, operating patterns, interactive experience as well as values and satisfactions to enhance user operation and frequency. Furthermore, the whole context are constructed by taking values and satisfaction as the core category. Emotional design is deep feeling that have an effect on interactive experience of mobile e-book. Using the product would make the readers feel pleasure, which is the goal of emotional design. Consequently, it is vital that interactive interface design increase emotional factors on mobile e-books.
3.Visualization and interactive interface design patterns on mobile e-books: Providing consistency operating modes, exclusive user interface design patterns are not limited to digital publishing system and application software in mobile e-books. Preattentive variable which included shape, area, colour and number can transmit information for the first time. It is important for interface design to provide number as preattentive variable in mobile e-books. The key visualization element to trigger and deepen interesting point of users include object visibility include button and prompt, as well as visual presentation include material, effect and layout on mobile e-books.
According to the aforementioned analysis, this paper first discusses usability as well as integrates diversity of interactive interface design and research perspectives: usability principles, emotional design and visualization to find the key visualization elements, which can trigger and deepen interesting points of users. Above all, provide the suggestion to promote the qualities of interactive interface design patterns on mobile e-books.
