本研究係針對915MHz RFID的讀取天線,在短距離的應用作為探討主題。在這個設計中,反射器天線被限制在已計劃的區域內讀取標籤。這種特殊的設計是將饋入端放在橢圓反射器兩個焦點的其中一個焦點上,透過反射面把輻射的場聚焦在另一個焦點上。這種雙焦點的反射器能夠藉由數學的橢圓面,將能量限縮在一個區域內。在這個設計中,反射器的尺寸大小接近2M,可以結合建築物的門禁整合。數值例子和實驗驗證出其可行性,已經得到良好的性能。
The design of RFID reader antenna at 915MHz is investigated for short distance applications. In this design, reflector antennas are employed to confine the energy to the region there the tags are planned to be detected. The novelty of this design is that the ellipsoidal reflector is used such that the feed located at one of its two focal point can radiate field to focus at the other focal point via the reflection from the reflector surface. This dual focal reflector can thus confine the energy within the region defined by the mathematic ellipsoidal surface. In this design, the size of reflector is roughly 2M such that the surface can be integrated with a building structure to form a down gate. Numerical examples and experimental validation are presented to demonstrate its feasibility. Good performance has been obtained.
