在多國籍的企業運作中,子公司的設置原因不外乎是遵守且執行母公司的策略,以確保及提升企業的經營效能,並擴大原本的經營疆界,所以子公司多負有迅速回應當地需求、以及要不斷的尋找新市場的拓展機會與利潤,以達成母公司企業整體目標。對於母公司來說,為能有效的管理子公司,以達成母公司所賦予之策略目標,母公司必須設立控制機制來加以管理與監督,但對於在海外所設立的子公司來說,經營的環境是瞬息萬變的,即使通訊科技發達、交通運輸便利,但當子公司遭遇問題時,母公司對問題的理解與處理過程,皆不如子公司本身來的正確與有效率,基於如此,母公司會使子公司自行處理所遇到之困難。本研究將從子公司角度看母公司所提供之協助並探討子公司經理人對於母公司所提供的支持的看法與感覺,所以本研究從子公司之自主權與子公司經理人之社會認知(承諾認知、可信度認知、連結度認知)探討對於子公司自主行為的影響。

實證結果發現:(1)子公司自主權對子公司內、外部自主行為有正面顯著影響;(2)子公司經理人承諾認知對子公司內、外部自主行為有負面顯著影響;(3)子公司經理人可信度認知對子公司內、外部自主行為有正面顯著影響;(4)子公司經理人連結度認知對子公司內、外部自主行為有正面顯著影響。

In the operation of MNC, the subsidiary’s setting is for complying with the parent company and implementing the strategy of the parent company to enhance the operational efficiency and expand the operating boundaries. So the subsidiaries have responsibility of rapidly response to local needs and continually find the new markets for create the opportunities and profits. And the subsidiaries can achieve the goal. For the parent company, they must set up a control mechanism in order to effectively manage the subsidiaries to finish the strategic objectives. However, the operating environment is changing rapidly for the overseas subsidiaries. Even if the communication technology and the transportation is developed and extremely convenient, but the parent company is not as good as on processing questions when the subsidiaries encounter the problem. Based on this, the parent company will let the subsidiaries to deal with the difficulties problem with itself. This study focuses on the parent company assist the subsidiaries from the perspective of the subsidiaries and explore the views and feelings of the subsidiary executives for support of the parent company. Therefore, this study explores the impact on the initiative of the subsidiaries from the autonomy of the subsidiary and the social cognition (commitment cognition, credibility cognition and attachment cognition) of subsidiaries executives. The results are shown as followings. First, the autonomy of the subsidiaries positive effects of the internal initiative and external initiative. Second, the commitment cognition of subsidiaries executives’ negative effects of the internal initiative and external initiative. Third, the credibility cognition of subsidiaries executives’ positive effects of the internal initiative and external initiative. Last, the attachment cognition of subsidiaries executives’ positive effects of the internal initiative and external initiative.
