本研究為大學電腦程式設計課程發展學習動機量表,並應用此量表驗證學習動機與學習挫折容忍度之相關性。本量表係根據DeVellis(2003)建議的心理量表發展過程,依據學習動機理論及電腦程式設計學習原理設計電腦程式設計學習動機量表題目。透過問卷調查方式,挑選三所大學有修習電腦程式設計課程的學生填寫問卷,共收集404份有效樣本。利用描述性統計,Pearson積差相關性、項目分析、探索性因素分析及驗證性因素分析驗證量表的信效度及相關性。結果顯示電腦程式設計學習動機量表由四個構面組成:外在動機、自我效能、尋求協助、學習價值,共14題,且具有可接受的信效度。本研究效化電腦程式設計學習動機量表,並發現:(a)樣本的電腦程式設計學習動機屬普通程度;(b)樣本的電腦程式設計挫折容忍度低;(c)電腦程式設計學習動機與其學習挫折容忍度之間有低相關性。建議改善大學的電腦程式設計課程及教材教法,提升學生的程式設計學習動機和學習挫折容忍度。
This study aims to develop a learning motivation scale for university computer programming courses and examine the relationship between learaning motivation and tolerance of learning frustration towards computer programming. Based on the learning motivation theories and the learning principles of computer programming. the scale was developed according to the development procedure of psychological scale suggested by DeVellis(2003). A survey approach was used to validate the scale and 404 samples were collected from information related departments in three universities. The descriptive statistics, Pearson product moment correlation, items analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to measure validity and reliability of the scale. Results showed the learning motivation scale for computer programming consisting of four dimensions: external learning motivation, self-efficacy, seeking help, learning value had acceptable validity and reliability. The scale was validated and found:(a) subjects’ learning motivation towards computer programming was normal; (b) subjects’ tolerance of frustration towards programming was low; (c) a low correction between learning motivation and tolerance of learning frustration towards computer programming. To enhance students' learning motivation and tolerance of learning frustration towards computer programming, computer programming curricular and pedagogies in universities should be optimized.
