Because of SMEs, Taiwanese Economics is grown, Since 1950s, Taiwanese Econnomics experienced the first import substitution, export expansion, second import substitution and export expansion, and technique-intensive development and commerce transformation. Because Government promoted the policy and encouraged economics to develop, SMEs was born and grew promptly, and made SMEs important. Additioinally, there are characteristics which are labor-intensive production and flexible to make SMEs more competitive. However, due to policy and economics factors, and being lack of domestic market let SMEs develop to the foreign.
According International Management research, International entry mode ranks third, first is foreign direct investment and second is Internaitionalization. Entry mode study’s sample are almost multinational enterprises and its knowledge and background cannot transfer to SMEs. Additionally, the study about SMEs is neglected and SMEs’ structure, finance and human resource are different from MNEs’ so that the way that MNEs make desesion is not like the way that SMEs make desesion. Therefore, there is motivation to study how to make the best desesion to choose the entry mode through SMEs’s resource. So, the Resource-based View is regarded as the study’s conceptual framework and exclueds the environment factors such as host country and home country to make research.
