本論文主要是設計應用於GPS與RFID讀取器之圓極化平面天線,文中共提出三種天線結構,主要是採用槽孔天線作設計。第一種設計使用微帶線末端不等寬的倒L型帶線作為激發結構,並延伸一對倒L型槽孔線與一對矩形帶線至槽孔中,以擾動槽孔中磁流分佈,產生圓極化輻射效應,應用GPS(1575.42 MHz)頻段。第二種設計使用共平面波導(CPW)饋入,饋入端以一個拐杖形帶線作為激發結構,並且在矩形槽孔中具有兩個微擾元件,以改善阻抗匹配與軸比頻寬,應用UHF RFID(866-928 MHz)三頻段設計。第三種設計使用CPW饋入,饋入線末端以一個菱形金屬片具有長方形帶線作為激發結構,兩個L形帶線嵌入在槽孔的對角線,以達到圓極化操作,軸比頻寬可含蓋RFID全頻(860-960 MHz )。
In this thesis, the three designs of the circularly polarized (CP) planar antenna for GPS/RFID applications are proposed. The design configurations of the proposed antenna in the text are based on the slot structure. The first design used an inverted L-shaped line with an unequal width at the end of the micro-strip line for the excitation. By extending a pair of inverted L-shaped slots and a pair of rectangular strips to disturb magnetic current distributions in the slot, the CP radiation for GPS (1575.42 MHz) operation can be generated. The second design uses a co-planar waveguide (CPW) feedline with a crutch-shaped strip-line as the excitation structure. The two perturbation elements in the rectangular slot are used to improve the impedance matching and the axial bandwidth for UHF RFID (866-928 MHz) application. The third design uses a rhombus patch with a rectangular strip at the end of the CPW feedline as the excitation structure. The two L-shaped strips are embedded in the slot to vary magnetic current distributions and radiate a CP wave. The axial ratio bandwidth for the third antenna can cover the whole RFID band (860-960 MHz).
