天然橡膠、石油、煤炭與鋼鐵並稱四大工業原料,更是攸關民生、國防與工業發展不可或缺的重要物資。其中天然橡膠兼具了工業與農產品雙重性質,普遍被應用於我們的日常生活中,大至汽車輪胎、小至橡皮圈,皆以天然橡膠為主要原料。
在產業環境中,整個產業鏈既是競爭對手,也是互為依賴,更是錯綜複雜的網絡關係。短期而言,產業競爭似乎是短暫平衡。但長期而言,產業網絡是動態演化的。
本研究以「天然橡膠」產業為研究對象,從網絡的觀點,以Koka et al.(2006)的網絡模型、何岳峯(2010)及魏淑靜(2014)的研究結果為基礎,透過產業分析談,探討天然橡膠產業的網絡演化。期望瞭解該產業網絡中的地位與外在環境的關係,以利相關企業在制定未來發展策略時,作出適當的回應,甚至主導產業網絡的發展。

Natural rubber, oil, coal and steel are said to be the four major industrial raw materials. They are vital to the people's livelihood, national defense and industrial development. Among these four, natural rubber combines the dual nature of industry and agricultural features, and is generally used in our daily life, large to car tires, small to rubber band, the main raw materials are all natural rubbers.
In natural rubber industrial environment, the entire industry chain is in competition, but also rely on each other, it is complex network relationship. In the short term, industrial competition seems to be a short-term balance. But in the long run, the industrial network is dynamic evolution.
This study is based on Koka et al. (2006)’s network model, together with He Yuefeng (2010) and Wei Shujing (2014)’s reseach results to investigate natural rubber industry. By analyzing natural rubber industry network evolution in the past, current internal and external impact factors, I expect to provide aid to the industry enterprises to forsee future changes, so that to conduct appropriate strategies to response the chanllenges or even better, to lead the evolution of the network.
