Chinese Abstract
本研究選擇金庸小說<<書劍恩仇錄>>英譯本作為研究對象，探討武鬥場景英譯翻譯規約與策略。根據Toury的規約理論，規約影響翻譯者翻譯過程的所有階段，透過譯文與原文的對比，譯者的譯文會呈現規律語文現象，並歸類譯者翻譯策略。
本研究著重武鬥場景翻譯策略與譯者翻譯規約，比較原文與譯文後，譯者對武鬥場景之翻譯主要採取順譯與省略譯文兩項策略，並搭配改寫與節略，讓譯文情節簡短。譯者以順譯翻譯武鬥場景武者的動作順序，並省略作者對場景鋪陳描述，其中包含中國文化相關的元素。對於武俠元素如人物外號與武功招數名稱之翻譯，譯者皆以傳達內在意義為策略，並忽略中文形式。而譯者的翻譯規約是明晰與簡化，這是譯者選擇以讀者為主 的規約來翻譯原文，讓譯文簡單通順易讀，更能順應讀者的需要。

English Abstract
This research chooses Shū Jiàn En Chóu Lù of Jin Yong as the research subject to explore norms and translation strategies of martial arts fiction fighting scenes. According to Toury’s norm theory, norms govern every aspect of translation process. Through comparison between source text and target text, the target text will show regularities and norms and translation strategies can be sorted out.
The research is limited to translation strategies and norms of fighting scenes. Having compared the source and target texts, the researcher finds that the translator of Shū Jiàn En Chóu Lù ( The Book and the Sword ) mainly uses two translation strategies, linear translation and omission, and combines the minor strategies of rewriting and abridgement to trim the translation text. The researcher finds that the translator uses linear translation to arrange fighters’movements and omission to leave out Jin Yong’s detailed background and Chinese culture-related descriptions. As to moves, kung fu, and characters’ nicknames, the translator’s approach is to bring meaning out regardless of Chinese four-word formation. The translator’s norms are explicitation and simplification, both of which are reader-oriented, making the translation text more accessible, fluent, and suiting readers’ needs.
