近年來汽車內電子產品越來越多，許多通訊產品、導航、數位電視、音響影音設備、車輛安全裝置等，因速度快且車體走線複雜相互干擾，汽車具備電磁兼容的設計將是重要的環節，為了順應市場需求，避免代價高昂的召回，藉由各大車廠各自電磁兼容法規要求，通過電磁干擾達到不影響其他的裝置跟設備，符合電磁耐受規範等測試項目要求達到不受其它電子產品的干擾與影響，看到一些公司產疏忽了電磁兼容要求，認證時可能未依要求之方式或線材長度進行測試，在車廠進行實車測試時無法通過，此時若因設計本身電磁兼容無法通過，勢必需要重新修改與驗證，耽誤了汽車公告上市時間，可能面臨賠錢與產品無法順利裝於車上之問題，電子產品初期設計時即導入電磁兼容設計，按照產品之特性在電路設計、電路板走線、機構設計、線材結構上考慮電磁兼容之設計與預防，以求電子產品開發過程到量產能夠順利通過電磁兼容認證為首要目標，以求達到節省成本跟創造高品質電子產品。
