Human trafficking is also called modern slavery. Those who were trafficked have no human rights. They are treated to various inhuman and unreasonable treatments, such as sexploitation, labor exploitation, and organ transplant. Some buyer even treated victims as prey to hunt. These victims are treated as merchandise, and they are bargained by different kinds of attributes. If they are worthless, they will be abandoned, let alone being imprisoned, beaten, and other inhuman treatments. Nevertheless, everyone is an individual and has inviolable human rights. It is necessary to face and suppress human trafficking. Human trafficking has been gradually emphasized internationally in recent years. Nevertheless, the huge benefit counterbalances related prevention mechanism. It is not enough to suppress human trafficking by regulations. This problem can only be solved by considering multiple factors. In recent years, Thailand has become one of economic prosperity countries in Southeast Asia and has revised regulations in 2008. This regulation-ATIP, is considered as the most flawless regulation related to human trafficking among riparian countries of Mekong river. Instead of improving human trafficking, there are many corrupt government officials in Thailand involved because of huge benefit. Accordingly, this study will make a macroscopic inquiry about human trafficking prevention mechanism and profit behind human trafficking. Afterward, this study will conduct economic evaluation of human trafficking in terms of Thailand to get a better understanding of human trafficking. Hope there will be no human trafficking in the future.
