喬瑟夫‧姚阿幸(Joseph Joachim, 1831-1907)是十九世紀末二十世紀初活躍的小提琴演奏家，他同時也熱衷教學，培育出不少優秀學生。相較於演奏家的身份，姚阿幸的作曲才華則較少受到矚目，事實上他一生中創作了許多給小提琴的作品，其中不乏佳作，《三首給小提琴與鋼琴的小品，作品二》(Drei Stücke für Violine und Klavier, op. 2)是他在一八四三至一八五二年期間的創作，於一八五二年由伯萊特科普夫與哈泰爾出版社(Breitkopf＆Härtel)出版。
本文將探討姚阿幸《三首給小提琴與鋼琴的小品，作品二》的動機使用與創作手法，分為四個主要章節，第一章介紹姚阿幸的生平，第二章介紹他的創作生涯與作品特色，第三章分析姚阿幸《三首給小提琴與鋼琴的小品，作品二》的動機使用，分為曲式分析、節奏動機以及旋律動機三個層面來探討，第四章藉由第三章分析的結果比較姚阿幸在這三首小品中不同的創作手法。

Joseph Joachim was an active violinist especially at the the end of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century. During that time, he taught and cultivated many outstanding students. However, Joachim’s talent for composing was underrated compared to his violin playing status. He composed many great pieces for the violin in his life and some of them are excellent works. Drei Stücke für Violine und Klavier, op. 2 was composed from 1843 to 1852, published in 1852 by Breitkopf＆Härtel.
This essay will discuss motivic application and musical language of Drei Stücke für Violine und Klavier, op. 2, divided into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the life of Joachim. The second chapter talks about his composing career and his compositional style. The third chapter gives a brief analysis on motivic application used in Drei Stücke für Violine und Klavier, op. 2 and focuses on the aspects of formal structure, rhythmic and melodic motives. The final chapter compares the different musical language applied in theses three pieces based on the analytical conclusion of the third chapter.
