The purpose of this study is to explore whether the relational quality and interaction frequency between start-ups’ and incubator respectively moderate the relationship between the trust and start-ups’ dominant role of knowledge transfer recipient. This study draws on questionnaires from 75 Taiwan’s incubated start-ups and applies regression analysis to investigate the above main argument. First, the results indicate that the trust between incubator and incubated start-ups has a positive effect on start-ups’ dominant role of knowledge transfer recipient. Second, the relational quality positively moderates the relationship between the trust and start-ups’ dominant role of knowledge transfer recipient. Third, the interaction frequency positively moderates the relationship between the trust and start-ups’ dominant role of knowledge transfer recipient.
