卡爾．藍乃克 (Carl Reinecke, 1824-1910) 為十九世紀初德國浪漫樂派的作曲家、理論家、鋼琴家及指揮家，且屬於浪漫樂派中的保守派，致力於回歸傳統，並在創作上遵循古典時期的曲式。本研究生所探究的作品為藍乃克的《水妖》長笛奏鳴曲 (Undine Sonata, Op.167)，此曲為藍乃克藉由德國小說家佛奎 (Friedich de la Motte Fougue, 1777-1843) 整理的十六世紀德國古老神話撰寫的小說《水妖》(Undine) 譜曲。此樂曲寫於1880年，獻給當時在布商大廈管絃樂團擔任長笛首席的貝加 (Wilhelm Barge, 1836-1925)。《水妖》長笛奏鳴曲除了有優美的旋律線條，還有長笛與鋼琴之間的對話。此首奏鳴曲通常被視為浪漫派的作品，共包含四個樂章：第一樂章為快板；第二樂章為間奏曲，活潑的快板；第三樂章為安靜的行板；第四樂章為激動又熱情的快板，近乎急板。
本研究共包含五章：第一章為緒論，先簡述研究動機與目的，再敘述研究方法與架構；第二章介紹卡爾．藍乃克的生平、寫作特色、代表作品及創作背景與風格；第三章為樂曲分析與鋼琴合作探討，了解此首作曲手法及音樂與故事的連結，進而以鋼琴合作者的角度在詮釋上給予適切的建議；第四章為有聲資料之版本比較；第五章為結語。

Carl Reinecke (1824-1910) is a German Romantic composer, theorist, pianist, and conductor in the early 19th century. As a conservative in the Romantic School, Reinecke trys to bring back traditions and following the Classical Period form of composing.
Reinecke composed Undine flute sonata, op.167 in 1880.This work is based on the German romantic tale found in the 16th century novel Undine written by German novelist Friedrich de la Motte Fouque in 1811.This sonata was dedicted to Wilhelm Barge, who was at the time the Principal Flute at the Leiozig Gewandhaus Orchestra.Udine Sonata, Op.167 not only has beautiful melody lines, but also many dialogues between flute and piano. This sonata is normally considered as the Romantic genre. It includes four movements：Allegro；Intermezzo. Allegretto vivace；Andante tranquillo；Finale. Allegro molto agitato ed appassionato, quasi Presto.
This study includes five chapters：Chapter one is an introduction on the research motif and objectives, research methods, and the structure of this paper；Chapter two focuses on the life of Carl Reinecke and his representative works；Chapter three is the music analysis and interpretation. By first understanding the composing techniques of the work and the application of the story and music, appropriate advice in terms of interpretation from the perspective of a collaborative pianist is provided；Chapter four is the comparison of the different editions of the audio materials；and the final chapter is the conclusion.
