In recent years, the rapid growth of consumer electronics market is the pulling force of the overall PCB industry development. The supply chain of PCB industry is concentrated in Asia region, particularly prominent in Taiwan and China. Strategies used by most enterprises are to strengthen internal core competence and apply multiple strategic measures at external market building, in facing a highly competitive environment. Among diversified strategies used in the industry, enterprises often look for the most suitable means to carry out the strategic positioning and execution. In the industrial market, it is found that competitive and cooperative relationships among enterprise are often adopted alternatively. How enterprises discover their best strategy combination in competitive environment is the key to success.
In this case study analysis, we constructed industrial chain model based on the concurrent operational relationship of competition and cooperation in the PCB drill market, through the industry life cycle analysis, industry supply chain analysis, SWOT analysis, Potter five forces analysis to help identify the most feasible pattern.
