The Republic of China Air Force generation 2 flight fighters have been deployed for more than a decade. Owing to the National defense budget limitation, the flight fighter logistics maintenance and inspection is increasingly difficulty to sustain. In face of national military transformation, manpower reduction, workload increased, will the officers and soldiers have negative effect to job satisfaction?This study takes the Republic of China Air Force grassroots officers and soldiers as the research object to truly reflect the thoughts of military personnel and to explore the job characteristics, job pressure, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the relevance. A total of 300 questionnaires were issued to the Chiayi Air Force Base personnel and 257 valid questionnaires were collected for this study. Our analysis found that the job characteristic has significant positive impact on organizational commitment. Job pressure has significantly negative impact on organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Organizational commitment has positive impact on job satisfaction
