依據Gartner預測,2017年運行在網際網路上的裝置將超過8.4億個,於2020年更將超過20.4億以上,因此面對龐大物聯網的時代趨勢演進,產業中面對相繼產生的網路元件裝置,對於網路管理者來說,必須了解網路上的所有行為與活動,才能對網路進行有效的管理,例如:網路所產生的流量是否合理,資訊傳遞中是否安全,都讓管理人員花費相當多的時間分析,亦面臨了極大的考驗。
這幾年企業利用虛擬化建置私有雲進行資源整合與調配,服務可用性有了更嚴謹的標準,同時製造業為因應工業4.0時代,企業之內部營運系統(例如:ERP、CRM、PLM、MES等)、物聯網、智慧化建築..等,相關的服務彼此結合之下,管理人員面臨各項架構異動及擴展的過程,於監控管理層面更顯加重,心理層面上之壓力更為沉重。管理人員開始針對管理活動進行檢討與改善,期盼經由研究分析與工具的導入,進一步減輕工作上的負荷,透過自動化的處理程序,直接解決產生的異常問題。
於現行的網路管理機制上,因採購商業版之網路管理系統有預算上之考量,所以並無系統可提供使用。當發生異常時,管理人員通常經由反應者提供的資訊,才能快速分析可能的發生點,再對其網路節點逐一進行檢查,但花費的時間卻難以預測,也間接增加了服務中斷的時間。若可透過開源軟體(Open Source)建立一套智慧化的網路管理系統,除可節省企業採購成本之外,透過其系統提供的警示功能,應可協助管理人員快速確認問題的來源;透過系統的外部整合與自動化作業,應可直接對停止的服務進行回復的動作。
本研究以結合Nagios系統實現企業私有雲服務與物聯網即時監控,並建立設備異常警示通知之備援機制,於網路核心設備或郵件主機發生異常時,可透過其他線路通知管理人員,減少故障排除的時間。另建立主機服務異常的自動復原機制,於異常事件產生時,可透過機制快速將服務復原至正常狀態,有助於減輕管理人員的故障處理工作,並減少服務管理的壓力,也可確保企業營運服務可用性,減少因異常產生之損失。
According to Gartner’s prediction, the devices available on the Internet will reach over 840 million in 2017 and over 20.4 billion in 2020. Therefore, with the evolution of the vast Internet of Things era, a network manager who deals with network parts or devices that come one after another, must understand all network behavior and activities in order to manage effectively. For example, issues like reasonable management of network traffic and safe data delivery require a manager to spend a great deal of time analyzing and conducting tests.
For several years, service availability has complied with stringent standards along with enterprises’ use of virtualization to build a private cloud for resource integration and deployment. At the same time, the business operating system of enterprises in the manufacturing industry amid the industry 4.0 era (e.g. ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, etc.), the Internet of Things, intelligent building and so on, along with the combination of relevant services puts a manager under pressure and psychological stress when dealing with structural changes and expansion due to greater demand and burden in monitoring and managing. A manager begins to review and improve management activities and expect to further reduce workload through research and analysis, introduction of tools and problem solving using automatic processes.
In current network management, there is no system available since the network management system of the commercial procurement version has budget considerations. When irregularities occur, a manager can normally analyze possible spots quickly and check the network nodes one by one using only the information provided by the respondent. Besides the unpredictable time consumption, there is also an increase in service interruption time. Building a set of intelligent network management systems using Open Source software could help a manager identify the source of the problem through a warning function provided by the system, as well as reduce business procurement cost. Moreover, service interruption may be restored directly through an external integration of the system and automatic operations.
This study combines the Nagios system to develop a private cloud service for enterprises, conduct real-time monitoring of the Internet of Things, and build a backup equipment abnormality warning mechanism that can notify the manager if there is abnormality in the network core equipment or mail host, so as to reduce troubleshooting time. The automatic recovery mechanism of the host service abnormality is additionally created so that when abnormality occurs, service may be quickly restored to normal. This helps the manager to not only reduce troubleshooting tasks and the pressure of service management, but also ensure the availability of the business system and cut losses caused by abnormalities.
