台灣的經濟雖說會受到全球景氣與中國大陸的影響,但其在製造業上還是具
有相當的競爭優勢與競爭能力,除了科技與生產技術能獲得國際上的肯定外,在
管理上一定也是能符合現代化的水準,然而各家製造公司之企業經營策略,其模
式、政策、和方向則會呈現出各家公司之經營特色,而本論文即是以個案的研究
探討一家塑膠模具公司,探討其模具經營與其所生產塑膠類產品之後進者的競爭
和驅動因素,首先即是探討後進者本身的經營策略,接著進行環境評估也就是觀
察先進者與其所處的產業,並依據公司的特質與市場商機,了解到企業本身優勢
能力,而依此優勢能力判斷出進入市場的機會,與因這後進者進入的機會而產生
經營上的利潤。
研究發現A 公司本身的經營與發展,是非常的具有洞察市場脈動的能力,勇
於改變、創新、與開發之一家具有前瞻性和非常有經營遠見的公司,所生產的產
品從始至今,已有超過數百種以上的產品,而A 公司對於其產品的經營理念一直
保有後進者進入的模式與策略,而這也是其公司在塑膠模具產業,創造其競爭優
勢的經營方法。而從個案研究中,也發現到A公司所生產的產品具有一個共通性,
即有關於其公司產品的供應鏈與競爭優勢具有精簡與敏捷的特性,所以其製程能
快速的生產出品質優良與顧客滿意之產品並節省許多不必要的耗材。
Although Taiwanese economy is in the suffering of global boom and China, its
manufacturing industries still have the competitive advantages and capabilities.
Besides the technology and skills, the management also achieves the modern standard.
However, each enterprise has its operation, strategy, mode, and goal different from
others. This paper is belonging to case study for a plastic mold company exploring the
late mover strategy and driving factors. The first thing is to study the late movers’
operation strategy, and then to evaluate its environment of first mover in industries.
Furthermore, the research is to discuss A companies’ advantages and capabilities by
its characteristic and market, and to find its market opportunity and business benefits.
The research finds that A company is talent in operation and development along
with market trend. They are eager to change, innovate, and create following the far
vision. They already have produced hundreds of products, and its operation still keeps
late mover strategy. And this is the reason why A company can create competitive
advantage in plastic mold industry. The research also finds A companies’ products
have the similar characteristic that is relative to agile and lean in their supply chain.
They can quickly produce good qualified products that fit customers’ needs as well as
save lots of material.
