　　建築語言的組構關係種類繁多極為複雜，但建築並非使用單一元件所構成，設計者需要透過元件的組構方式來創造屬於自己的語彙。 而建築物的語言都來自元件所要傳遞的訊息，從最先第一層級的基本的功用和環境的關係，再到第二層級要指涉的意涵，透過元件牆、門、窗、柱、梯、板的組構關係去表達空間的意境。
　　本文要以齋場空間來探討有關生與死的建築語言在空間上所要指涉的事件、事物或狀態，從案例分析中先以元件離析方式來比較設計者們在不同的案例空間上所要傳遞的訊息，再透過空間的組構方式來探討物質載體與人的關係，最後再經由設計操作的方式來檢驗。

Architecture language is a complex system which is composed of diverse elements. Architecture is not only consisted of one element but also with specific intention of designer to deliver and create its own architectural language.
Due to the meaning of architecture come from architectural elements, the first level is to establish a relationship between function and environment. Then second level is to explore deeper meaning with referential context. It is a key to utilize by architectural elements such as wall, door, window, column, stair and floor to assemblage and express spatial context.
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the notion of “life and death “ to explore architecture language in refer to activity and status through mortuary design.
In comparing various case studies, architects try to develop their own language and elements in order to deliver their message effectively. Moreover, using spatial assemblage as operative modes has explored the relationship between material and human as references. At the end, through design operation examines its validity.
